We have over a long period of time been contacted by our customer with reports of soakaways not working mainly from septic tanks and treatment plants both with pumped outlets. This leaves flooded lawns,puddling and of nasty effluent laying on the surface giving way to bad smells and odours also that drain runs are backed up or blocked beyond use.
Many of the above problems come from the sewage system and the ground conditions not being sized or allowed for when a new tank or treatment plant is installed.
For instance a lot of septic tanks and treatment plants are installed with a pumped outlet to regain levels and flows within a sewage system ending in being pumped to a soakaway but as progression takes place a soakaway from a pumped outlet sewage system is then being forced to take a flow and cannot deal with the pressure from a pump.
We have been lucky enough over the years to trial this experience with our customers and the results have been so positive we have designed and manufactured our own range of working balance tanks which aleaveate this problem giving another long term solution for our customers the balance tanks are part of our conversion units Viper range.
